Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions apply to the provision of the services provided by L&S Design Ltd (Laser Engraving Service) - 57 Leather Ln, London EC1N 7TJ
By using our services it is deemed that these terms and conditions have been accepted from thereafter the 22nd November 2023.
Patents & Licensing
The Customer shall indemnify the Company against all actions, costs (including the costs of defending any legal proceedings), claims, proceedings, accounts and damages in respect of any infringement of any patent, registered design, copyright, trade mark or other industrial or intellectual property rights resulting from compliance by the Company with the Customer’s instructions, whether express or implied.
Liability and Indemnity
The Company is entitled to assume that all drawings, descriptions, specifications and other information supplied by the Customer to the Company whether written or verbal, is in all respects complete, accurate and entirely suitable for the Customer’s requirements and any materials/items supplied.
The total amount of our liability is limited to the total amount of Fees payable by you under the contract.
We do not guarantee that the product or outcome of our Service will be fit for any particular purpose
Although we will endeavour to do our best, we are unable to accept liability for the final outcome of our services if materials and items are not provided by ourselves.
Loss or Damage of products whilst in our care.
We accept no responsibility for customers' own material or items stored at our premises. We will, however, endeavour to make arrangements for suitable storage to the best of our abilities.
If any personal goods/products/materials are left on site, whether made use of our services or not, are not collected within a 2 month period or receipt, we reserve the right to dispose or keep any items in our possession.
Delivery
We will always do our best to ensure your products/parts are shipped and delivered to you by the indicated date, however, we are NOT responsible for any delays in shipping or failure to ship or liable for any loss of earnings due to late delivery.
We advise all mail is dispatched to us via recorded delivery and waiver any liability for parcels that do not arrive or that have not been signed for by persons employed at L&S Design Ltd.
All scheduled collections of goods via courier services need to be planned within working hours unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Fee’s
Fee’s s for the services are set out in the quotation and are on a time and materials basis.
L&S Design Ltd is entitled without prior notice to adjust the price to correct any errors or omissions which in part may result in additional costs prior to collection or dispatch. This would include, additional design work, labour, materials or transportation.
L&S Design is VAT registered under Number 653964502 - Value Added Tax will be charged at the rate applicable at the date of despatch.
Payment
All payments are required prior to either dispatch or upon collection of goods OR if you have a registered account with us we require payment within 5 working days of receipt of invoice.
If payment is not recieved within the period set above the owners of L&S Design Ltd are at their discretion entitled to charge an interest rate of 8% plus the Bank of England base rate for business to business transactions on the amount outstanding until payment is received in full.
Receipts for payment will be issued by us only at your request.
In the event of any dispute the Customer shall not be entitled to withhold payment of the price of the goods or any agreement payments or to any right or set-off against any payment.
If payments are not made within the outstanding period set above, we can suspend any further provisions of the services and cancel any future services which have been ordered or arranged.
Refunds
In order to be eligible for a refund, you have to return the product within 30 calendar days of your purchase.
All items deemed as bespoke are NON refundable. Please see “Bespoke section 1’’ for services/products provided deemed as bespoke.
After we receive your item, our team of professionals will inspect it and process your refund. The money will be refunded to the original payment method you’ve used during the purchase. For credit card payments it may take 5 to 10 business days for a refund to show up on your credit card statement.
We do not refund based on your own choices of material or expectations of the product. Please note that it is up to you to refine and prototype your product.
We will always endeavor to make sure you’re happy with our services. We offer a money back guarantee to you on products manufactured and shipped from us to you if;
They are damaged in transit,
You receive the wrong products or parts
You receive products manufactured in the wrong material or to a different size as specified in your order to us.
Bespoke
Meaning: Specially made for a particular person that requires unique design work and assembly.
Due to the nature of bespoke work we are unable to offer a refund. Any damages or faults to the item deemed to be caused by L&S Design Ltd will result in an obligation to resolve any faults/damages.
Please do not attempt to repair the item yourself or organise a third-party repair. We reserve the right to refuse to repair, refund or replace an item if you have attempted to repair it yourself.
Applicable Law
The contract shall in all respects be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and the Customer hereby submits to the non exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts
